オーディシャスはイギリスでも人気のロックバンド。日本ではまだ知名度が低いですが、これから注目されること間違いなし！
Audacious is a famous rock band in the UK. I'm sure they'll become famous in Japan soon!!!

今回、アジアツアーの一環として名古屋、大阪などを回ります。日本の最終公演を、なんと東京で、しかもうちのチャーチが主催する、New Generation Live Houseで演奏してくれることになりました！
They will visit Tokyo as a Asia Tour. They also go to Nagoya and Osaka. They accepted our offer to play at New Generation Live House as their last performance in Japan!!

名古屋や大阪などでは２０００人入るホールで公演します。チケットも３０００円くらいするそうです。ところが！東京では同じバンドのライブを、なんと、５００円で聴くことができます！
I just heard its ticket in Nagoya and Osaka will be around 3000 yen as they will play in a big hall which can accomodate nearly 2000 people. But, as our live house is smaller than that, we can provide this live for \ 500!!!

みなさん、Amy Grant って知っていますか？
Do you know Amy Grant ?

彼女は実は有名なクリスチャンアーティストだったそうですが、彼女のCDを始めて手にしたとき、まさかこのアルバムでこんなに情熱的にJESUSのことを歌っているなんて思いもしませんでした！
She is know as a famous Christian Artist, however I've never realised about the fact that she was worshiping Jesus on her song when I got her CD for the first time.

過去ログにもこの話を書いているのですが、このアルバムを購入したのは２００４年の１月、東京に来てまもなくの頃でした。新宿の新星堂でいろんな音楽を試聴していて、気に入ったアルバムを見つけたので買って帰って家で聴いてみたところ、間違って購入してしまっていたということに気がつきました。その間違って購入したアルバムが Amy Grant の Simple Things でした。
I bought her album when I just moved to Tokyo in January, 2004. I was listening to many CDs at Shinsei-do (CD shop) in Shinjuku, and I found one favorite. So I picked it up and brought to my house, looking forward to listening to the whole song. However, I bought a wrong one and I realised that when I got home and listened the music! Which was Amy Grant's album, Simple Things.

しかし彼女の声、メロディに一瞬に惚れ込んでしまい、その後返品するどころか毎日のように聴きこんで、すぐにお気に入りの１枚になりました！
But, I liked her song instantly and I didn't bring it back to the CD shop and kept it! Since then, I listened to it many times and it became one of my favorites!

当時は神様のことなんて全然知らなかったけれど、歌詞の意味も考えたこともなかったけれど、初めて彼女の歌を聴いたとき、頭にがつんとヒットしたような大きな衝撃を受けました。それまでのどんな音楽を聴いても経験したことのなかったような、強い衝撃でした。
When I heard of her music for the first time, massive impact has come to me. It was like something has hit my head with something very solid.

いま思えば、自分が間違えてこのアルバムを買ったのも、神様のプランだったのかなぁなんて思います。なぜかというと、心から頼れるものがなかった、神様を知らない時代、この一枚に知らず知らずのうちに励まされていたんです！辛い状況にあったとき、このアルバムを聴いてベッドの中でいっぱい泣いたんです。すると、不思議と心がものすごく癒されて、もやもやした思いが吹き飛ばされました。当時自分が持っていたほかのどの音楽よりも暖かくてやさしくて、癒しの音楽として欠かせない一枚でした。
Now I'm sure that it was God's plan that I got a wrong one, because I was really encouraged from her songs for many times!!! At that time, I didn't know about God at all. God has touched me through her music and healed me everytime I was hurt from my relationship, work, or any situations. I cried with her music and then I felt something very warm which I've never experienced.

I heard of his music at Hillsong Conference for the first time. And he was playing the song "DIVE" and since then I could never foget of the impact! This song is in the album titled 'SPEECHLESS' I strongly recommend you this. Yet I listened to this just a little bit (because I just listened to this at the store and I haven't got my own copy yet..), this is really good.

このアルバムは全て自分のツボにHITする曲ばかりが入っていて、視聴したときにシビれてしまった・・（笑）リリースが１９９９年なので、８年前のアルバムだけれど、いま聴いてもカッコいい！
Releaced in 1999 (8 years ago). Still HOT!!! I liked the all song in it instantly!!

This is the one of my favorites since I'm back from Hillsong Conference. I really like this song!!!! (Finally I got its CD :))

It's called "Indescribable"...日本語の意味は、『言葉に言い表せないような』（←ごめんね、もろ辞書の訳そのままだね（^^;））

この曲では、私たちがいま存在する、このおっきな宇宙を創造した、想像もできないくらいビッグな神様を讃えて、『神よ！言葉にできないくらい　あなたは素晴らしい！』って歌ってます。

金曜日の夜は、お誘いを受け、Jazzライブに連れて行ってもらいました！
Friday night, I was invited and went to Jazz live!!

目黒にあるBLUES ALLEY JAPANというジャズ、ブルース、R & Bを中心に行うライブハウスで、一流サックス奏者、Ron Brown の日本来日公演でした！
It was the Japan live of Ron Brown, held at Blues Alley Japan in Meguro.

ロン・ブラウンは、スティービー・ワンダー、ホイットニー・ヒューストン、ダイアナ・ロス、など、世界一流ミュージシャンのサポートサックス奏者として活躍する傍ら、ソロアーティストとしても活躍。また、大の親日家でも知られ、独学で日本語をマスターしたそうです！
Row Brown is know as a Saxophonist surrporting lots of world's top artists such as Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, and more. He also does his own music and has his own record rebel. He is known as a Japan freak as well. He has mastered Japanese and speaks very well!!!

今回のライブでも、MCはもちろん、曲間でも自然に日本語が出てくるくらい日本語がペラペラ！

実は彼はクリスチャンで、MCでは、その流暢な日本語で、Ronのサクセスストーリー、麻薬中毒になったこと、何をしても断ち切ることができなかったこと、そして神様に出会って、癒され、麻薬を止めることができたこと。。を話してくれました。
He is a Christian, and he shared us his testimony during MC:before he met Jesus, how he met Jesus, and how his life has changed...

『何をしても止めることができなかった麻薬を、神様が止めさせてくれた。神様がいなかったら、自分は今頃ホームレスだったかもしれない。死んでいたかもしれない。でも、神様が僕を救ってくれた！神様が僕を生かしてくれてる！神様は、すばらしい！』
"Nothing could rescue me from drug but God did. If I didn't get to know God I would be a homeless, or could be died. But God saved my life, and now I'm alive. God is great!!!"

って、最高に輝いた顔で話している姿に、ものすごく心を打たれた。
I was touched so much...

さらにすごいな～と思ったのが、おそらくノンクリスチャンであろう観客の人たちが彼の賛美や神様の話に引くことがなく、むしろ曲が終わるたびに拍手！の嵐だった！
And also I was impressed to see lots of people(who still don't know about God, I guess..) liked him, and craped their hands for him.

日本の人々がクリスチャンや神様に対して心がオープンになってきている証拠だよね。
I felt that more and more people are opening their hearts to God in Japan.

それに、彼らのパワフルなライブや、スカッと明るい笑顔でクリスチャンのイメージも変わるんじゃないかって思う！

この言葉が印象的でした。
I'm impressed from this phrase:

『You get to know him, then you'll change your life.（彼を知ったら、人生が変わるよ！）』

終わった後、幸運にもRonと、今回ボーカルとして参加していたMakedaとお話するチャンスがありました！（紹介してくれたえみさん、ありがとう！！！）初対面なのにも関わらず、しかも超大物アーティストなのにも関わらずものすごく距離が近く感じた！MakedaはおっきいHUGしてくれて、『あなたが来てくれてうれしいわ！』ってキラキラの笑顔で話してくれた！神様からくる深い愛を感じたよ！
After the gig, fortunately I could get a opportunity to talk to Ron and Makeda, who was joining the band as a featured vocalist!!!(BIG thanks to Emi for introducing them!!!) They were such a warm-hearted people and I didn't feel the distance when I talked to them. Makeda gave me a big hug for me saying "It's really great that you could come!!!" I felt God's love from her smile :))

日本にも彼らのようなクリスチャンのアーティストがどんどん増えてくれたらいいな～～！
I hope that we can meet more and more artists like them in Japan as well(^^)

Saviour King

オーストラリアレポの続きの前に、これについて！
Before I move on to the next report from Sydney, let me share you about the music below!!

実はオーストラリアに行く前の日に知ったのですが、ヒルソングから新しいライブワーシップＣＤが６月３０日にリリースされたのです！
You might know already though, Hillsong Church released a new live worship CD on 30th, June. I knew about this information just before I go to Australia.

タイトルは”Saviour King” The title is "Saviour King"

これは、３月に行われたヒルソングの女性向けカンファレンス”Colour Your World”が終わった直後に行われたライブを収録したものです。
These worship songs were recorded at the Sunday service just after the Hillsong women's conference called "Colour Your World".

会場は先日もカンファレンスが行われたAcer Arenaなのですが、この日会場には１８０００人もの人がこのライブレコーディングに訪れたそうです。
It's held at Acer Arena where I also went for conference in this month. There were about 18,000 people gathered for this recording service. Most of them were from every part of Australia.

しかも、そのほとんどがオーストラリア国内から集まったといわれています。

このアルバムには３月に発売された発売されたHillsong UNITEDのアルバム、”All of Above”にも収録されている "Break Free" "Hossana"をはじめ、"I'm not ashemed"、アルバムタイトルにもなっている "Saviour King" など、全１４曲を収録。
In this album, "Break Free" "Hossana" (from Hillsong UNITED's latest album "All of Above"), also "I'm not ashemed" "Saviour King" are included. They recorded 14songs in total. (They also released DVD and inside there, 16 songs are avairable.)

割とゆったりとした、スローテンポな曲が多いかな。若者向けに作られているUNITEDのアルバムに比べれば幅広い年代層にうけそうな感じ。
It's more slow songs than fast songs. I felt that this is not espcially for particular genaration but any genarations will like them.

今日はその音楽も人間性も大好きなアーティスト、Kat（キャット）です♪
Today's artist is one of the hottest singer and songwriter in Japan, Kat McDowell!!!

Katはニュージーランド人と日本人のハーフの女の子で、東京生まれ、ニュージーランド育ち。
Kat was born in Japan and spent her 5years in Tokyo. Then she moved to her father's home, New Zealand and grew up there.

8歳から作詞作曲を始めて、当時から。２００５年から音楽活動の拠点を東京に移して、本格的に活動している！
She started writing song when she was 8years old! She has kept doing music constantly and she moved back to Tokyo in 2005 for music.

そして今年２００７年５月、まずはインディーズとして初CDをリリース！
In May 2007, she released her first mini album from indies rabel!!

このミニアルバムではKat自身が作詞作曲した曲はもちろん、７０年代に大ブレイクした、イルカの代表作で名曲の、『なごり雪』のカバーバージョンが収録されている！
All of song are written by Kat herself except the one called "Nagoriyuki". This is the covered song written by the Japanese popular singer-songwriter, Iruka.

実はこの『なごり雪』は、Katが音楽を始めるきっかけとなった曲らしい。
Actually the song "Nagoriyuki" is the reason why she started music.

Katの音楽の特徴は、英語と日本語のミックスで歌われるやわらかくて暖かい歌詞＆天使のような歌声＆美しいメロディ！その前向きな歌詞は、私たちに勇気と希望をくれる。Katのピュアなハートが音楽を通してとてもよく伝わってくる！
Kat's music is very interesting: most of songs are sung in English and Japanese. Her lyrics are so warm and soft, and her music is so melow(beautiful !!), and her voice, is like an angel!! Her songs are so positive and it gives us courage and hope!!Through her music, we can see how pure her heart is.

”Now is the Time”　これは、イギリスのバンド、”Delirious？”の曲のタイトル。
"Now is the Time" is the title of the song of a band, Delirious.

彼らを知ったキッカケは、うちのチャーチ、ジーザスライフハウスでも歌ってる”Solid Rock”からなのだけど、その音楽性に惹かれてほかの曲も聴き始めたんだ！そして、知れば知るほどにのめりこんでいってるのを感じる！
I started listening to the music because we sing one of their song "Solid Rock" at Jesus Lifehouse and I really liked it. And I realised that it's getting one of my favorites.

Delirious？の音楽は、一瞬クリスチャンの音楽だとは思えないクール＆激しいビートが特徴！その音楽はイギリスのヒットチャートに上がってくるくらいのクオリティ！でも、歌詞を聴けばものすごくポジティブに神様のこと賛美してるの！まさに現代スタイルなワーシップミュージック！
We can say that Delirious? is a rock band because of their music. Their music quality is quite high and it put them on the top chart of British music scean!! However when we listen to their music, you'll know that they are absolutely a worship band!!!

"Now is the Time"　このタイトルは日本語訳すると”いまがそのときだ！”って意味。

あくまでわたしの解釈なんだけど、いまこの飢え乾いた世界と戦うときがきている。恐れを覚えず立ち向かえ、世界に希望と喜びを伝えよ！って歌ってるの。
This is my understanding though, the song says that now is the time to fight with this hunger world. Do not fear, but tell the world that they still have hope, they still have will.

私たちは明日の世界を変えていくことができるんだ！ジーザスは世界を変える希望の光で、わたしたちはその光に照らされていま輝くときなんだ！
We can change this world with Jesus' hand. He's a shine of hope to change the world, and we can shine with his light now!!!

”History Maker”っていう曲で、日本語では　”歴史を作る人”っていう意味。

曲の中では、『私はジーザスのしたことを信じるんだ、それを世界に伝えていくんだ！』って力強く歌ってるんだ！
In this song,  it says "I believe in Jesus, and am going to tell this world what he had done for us!!"

そして、私たちのひとりひとりがこの世界を変えていく”History Maker”になれるんだ！って歌ってるんだ。
And also says that we all can be a "History Maker" to change the world through what we do for Jesus!

確かに、この世界に奇跡をもたらした人はただ一人。彼以外にはありえない。でも、その奇跡を世界中に伝えていくのはわたしたちでもできるんだよ！そして、私たち一人ひとりが奇跡の伝道者となって世界にジーザスの愛を伝えてく。ジーザスの愛を知ると、人が変わる。たくさんの人が変わると、世界が変わる。世界が変わると、歴史が変わる。そのとき、伝道者は歴史の証人になる。
For sure, no one can bring the miracle into this world EXCEPT Jesus. However, we can tell the miracle to the world with faith. We tell his love to people. When people know his love, they will change. When lots of people get changed, the world will change. When the world changes, the history will change. When history changes, we will be a witness of the new history.

そして、その歴史に、ジーザスの名前だけでなく私たちの存在までもがしっかりと刻まれるんだ！
And our excistance's going to put on the history with Jesus' name!!!

Today, I'll introduce you one of my favorite songs~~ It's very famous!!!

これは実は私のブログのリンクにも入っているsaeちゃんが最近載せてたもので、懐かしくてYOU TUBE で聞いてたら私もココに載せたくなった！だってすごくいい曲なんだもん！
I put this song and lytics because sae(who are on my blog link) also has put this song recently. I was so glad to listen to this song on YOU TUBE because I don't have its CD..


クリスチャンになるまで、この曲で神様のことが歌われてるってこと知らなかったんだ。ただ、どこかで初めてきいたとき、そのサウンドに惹かれて好きになったの。のちのちこれが世界の子供たちのために歌われてるってことを知ってから、ますます好きになった！
Until I became a Christian, I didn't know that this song sing about God. Though I just liked this sound, and the theme. After I became a Christian, I listen to this song with different feelings than ever.
