アルファコースは普段、木曜の夜に行われていますが、この日は『Holy Spirit Weekend』と題して、土曜日のお昼に集まり特別な時間を過ごしました！

普段はイルミネーションがキレイなライトアップされた東京の街を眺めながら時間を過ごすのですが、もちろんお昼なので外はとっても明るい！いつも来ている場所が違う場所のように見えました！

また、この日もランチやお菓子など、贅沢なくらいにたくさんの食べ物が振舞われました。東京の真ん中で最高の景色を眺めてながら、おいしい物を素敵な友達と食べる。。。極上の贅沢です！！

そして、この特別な時間を使って一体何が行われたかというと。

『聖霊』について学び、また聖霊の力を受け取るためのお祈りをしたんです！

ALPHA COURSE:HOLY SPIRIT WEEKEND (ENGLISH)

Alpha Course is usually run on Thursday night. But we had a special time during afternoon on Saturday. It's called "Holy Spirit Weekend".

Every week we spend time with beautiful illmination in the city of Tokyo. Of course it was a day time so the outside was not illuminated for it's not dark! It looked quite different to what we have ever seen.(It was nice too!!)

We had special lunch and snacks as well....how luxurious to spend time with delicious food and nice friends...!!!

And what we had during this special time is...

We have watched DVD and listened about "Holy Spirit"(as we do every week) and had a prayer time to receive the Holy Spirit!!

ALPHA COURSE:WEEK 6

アルファコース６週目のレポです！
Thank you all for waiting patintly!! This is the report of Alpha Course Week 6!!

１０週続くアルファコースも後半に差し掛かり、学びの内容もだんだんと深くなっていきます。また、毎週同じメンバーと顔を合わせるので、それまでは互いに知らなくてもだんだんと打ち解けてくるころでもあります（＾＾）
We have 10weeks for this Alpha Course. We've finished half-way and the talk is getting deeper and deeper. We have same members every week, so our relationship is also getting deeper!

仕事をしていたり、他に優先しなければならないことがでてくると通い続けるのが困難になりますが、その中で毎週しっかりと参加できること、神様に感謝です☆
As you think, it is tough to make curtain time every week for sometimes we have to overwork, get sick, or any plans that can never cancel, etc.. I thank God that I could come every week so that I can gain more and more things and tell how was it like on this blog!

今回のテーマは『敵に打ち勝つには？』私たちが日々生活する中で直面する”見えない敵”に対抗するにはどうすればよいかを学びました！
This week's theme was "How can I resist evil" We learnt how should we face the evil that we can't see.

We covered 2 talks in a night, so I'll share you one by one :)

まずは、『神に祈るとは？』  "Why and how do I pray?"

クリスチャンになると”祈り”という言葉をよく耳にすると思います。しかし、それまでの生活には縁のなかった”祈り”に対して、疑問がいっぱいのはず！
I think that you'll hear the word "prayer" a lot when you become a Christian. And there'll be a full of questions about "to pray".

ALPHA COURSE:WEEK 3(ENGLISH)

Sorry for the late update for Alpha Course reports!! The Following is the English version of the week 3.

This is about the lesson from Alpha Cource week 3.

This Alpha Cource is held at a farbilously beautiful building called "Format Viscount" in Tameike-sanno. The couple who organize this course open their house every week!!! So we can learn with an amazing view!!

As you know, Tamaike-sanno is one of the most expensive area in Tokyo. The building was so amazing, it was like a hotel!!! The room we use is on the 29th floor!!! So you can see the view of the night of Tokyo!

Someone told me that they have a perfect place to watch the view.

"They have a porch!! Why don't you come and see outside!!"

And I came to the outside....it was a porch, but actually it was like a sort of park!!

They got some trees as you can see the picture.

Everyone enjoys looking at the view of the city...

Much better to experience the real one..hehe

After I get to the venue, I chat with my friends seeing the nice view while waiting for the dinner to be ready.

前回のアルファコースについてです～～！（今晩行われたティーチングについては、のちほど！）

私たちのチャーチ、ジーザスライフハウスで行われているアルファは、チャーチのすぐ近くにあるFormat Viscountというすんごくキレイなマンションの中で行われている。主催者のご夫婦が、このコースのために毎週おうちを開放してくれているのです！

おうち。。。とはいっても、そこは東京のど真ん中、港区。マンションのレベルも桁違いで、安いホテルなんかにいくよりは格段に広くてキレイで、設備が整っている。しかも私たちが毎週訪問しているおうちは最上階の２９階（！）にあるので、外の眺めが最高にキレイなのです！

『ベランダがあるから外を眺めてみなよ！』

なんていわれてベランダに出てみたら・・・そこはもう一種の公園のごとく緑が生い茂っていて、広々とした空間でした！

こうやって木が生い茂っています。ここは本当にマンションの上なのか？！？！と疑いたくなるような光景です。

ちなみにここを訪れる人全てがため息ついちゃうくらいの絶景はこちら☆
（どうしても写真だと迫力減しちゃうけどね・・・）

お部屋に着いたらディナーが振舞われるまではみんなと自由におしゃべりしているのですが、毎回必ずこの景色を眺めてからごはんをいただきます（＾＾）

肝心な中身の方ですが、第三回目は『自分の信仰に確信を持つためには？』がテーマでした。以下に簡単に学んだことをまとめますね☆

ALPHA COURSE:WEEK 2

先週・今週の木曜にアルファコースの２日目・３回目が行われました！
As some of you know, we have Alpha Course every Thursdays.

２週目は前回の大成功ぶりをチャーチのアナウンスで聞いたからか、先週来ていなかった人がたくさんきていた！
Last week (2nd week), we had much more people than the week before. There were some people who haven't come the first week, but they heard the announcement in church and got interested in.

また、前回来ていた人もみんな来ていて、『今日はどんな話が聞けるんだろう！』と目がきらきらしていた！私も実はそんな中の一人で、始まる前からワクワクが止まらないくらい前の週にたくさんの”イイ刺激”をもらって帰ったのです！
Also, the people who came for the first week have all come for the 2nd week as well, and their eyes were so shining as they want to learn more! I was the one of the bunch of people ;)

２週目のトピックは『イエスの死とは？』。イエス様が十字架にかかってその命を落とされて、３日後によみがえったのは有名な話ですが、イエス様は一体なぜ死なれたのか？
2nd week's topic was "Why did Jesus die?". I think it's a quite known story though, but Jesus died on a cross and raised again in 3days. Have you ever thought that WHY did Jesus die?

ALPHA COURSE:WEEK 1(ENGLISH)

As I informed at last entry, I attended "ALPHA COURSE" for the first time!!!

For those who don't know about Alpha Course, it is... 

-The ALPHA course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in easy-to-understand and relaxed manner. More than 9million people worldwide have completed the ALPHA course. www.alpha.org

It was held at a ultra nice room with a beautiful view in Akasaka, near Jitensha-Kaikan, where our church have!!!

I was quite nervus till I got there...because that area was a kind of place where the celebrities gather around...!!!
However, soon after I reached the place, I got relaxed instantly!!! For the people who welcomed me were...SO kind and warm!!!

Besides, I relieved for I got lots of people who I knew already..!!! Even the leaders were who I've already met before(and some are who I see every week!!! :) ) Of course I had a good time with people who met/talked for the first time... I estimate that we had around 15 people last night who are from USA, England, Australia, Nigeria, Japan and etc...very international meeting!!! I was surprised that there were more men than women this time!!! There were business men, college students, house wives, etc...

I've already impressed a lot even before the course has started!!! What I liked was, to have time to talk with who I know already but haven't talked ever!!! For there's LOTS of people in church and I'm also busy doing lots of things, I always talk to some particular people. I'm so inspired and encouraged to spend time with whose who work on different stages!!!

As the people gathered at the venue, we first had dinner with nice talk and foods :) We had delicious pasta, salad, some snack and drinks!!! So thankful!!!!

This Alpha course is a 10 weeks course, consists of all different talks each time. At first we watch/listen to the sermon on DVD, then discuss about the topic with groups. If we have any questions, we can ask our leaders then they will give us the answer.

Last night's topic was "Chistianity", "Who's Jesus?". They explained (on the DVD) "what is Christianity about" and "Who is Jesus " in a very simple way. Lots of things were already in my mind hopefully(for I've been a Christian for while, I should have known some...;)), though everything that I heard at the night sounded so fresh!!!! And on the way to home, I realised that I was fully filled after the course.

Today's lesson:

1.Christianity is..

-Not boring; it is about living life to the full.
-Not untrue; it is the truth.
-Not irrelevant; it transforms the whole of our lives.

2.Who is Jesus?..

-He is the bread of life.
-He is the light of world.
-He is the ressurection and the life.
-He is Son of God, who had a human body, feeling, and experience.

John 14:6
Jesus said, 'I'm the way and the truth and the life.'

I heard that this Alpha course is for those who are new believers, or who haven't believed God yet. Though, I thought it's going to be a really good oppurtunity to learn about the very basic of the Christianity and Chirstian life.

昨日ちらっと紹介した、アルファコースの第１日目にいってきました～～！

ちなみにアルファコースとは。。

-アルファとはイギリスの聖トリニティ・ブロンプトン教会から全世界に始まった、教会に行ったことのない人や新しくクリスチャンになった人たちのために作られた、リラックスした雰囲気で食事をしながらキリスト教についてのビデオを見て、グループで話し合うコースです。www.alphajapan.jp

場所は赤坂の礼拝が行われている、溜池山王の自転車会館すぐそば（徒歩２分ほど！）にある、超キレイな場所で行われました！

正直、その場所につくまで超緊張してました・・それに、あまりにもキレイな場所すぎて、場違いな気すらしてきて・・・（笑）

しかし、会場についてしまってからは、それまでの緊張が一気にほぐれました～！むしろ、ほっとした気持ちになったんです！！！！

というのも、迎えてくれたみなさんが本当にあったかかったんです☆☆

リーダー・参加者も思ったより知っている人が多くて、安心しちゃいました（^-^）・・初めて会った人ともよい時間が過ごせたし！今回はおそらく１５人前後の人が集まっていたと思うんだけど、男性の方が多かった！年代も様々で、ビジネスマン、学生、主婦・・国籍もアメリカ、イギリス、オーストラリア、ナイジェリア、日本、etcと、とてもインターナショナルな集まりとなっていました！

コースが始まる前にすでに、『この雰囲気すごくいいな～～☆』って感動しちゃいました！私が特にいいなぁと思ったのが、顔は知っているんだけれどまともにしゃべったことがなかった方々ともゆっくりお話ができたこと！チャーチもどんどんおっきくなって、たくさんの人がいるので、限られた時間の中で全ての人と話すのは困難。。しかも奉仕をしていると話をする人が特定の人たちがメインになってくるので、いろんな分野で活躍されている方々とお話できたのは本当にうれしかったです！

参加者のみなさんが集まったら、まずはみんなで楽しくおしゃべりしながらディナー☆おいしいパスタとサラダ、お菓子にドリンクもいただきました♪

今回このコースは、１０週にわたって毎回違ったトピックで行われます。メインの学びとなるDVDを見て、そのあとはグループに分かれてそれぞれが感じたことをシェアします。もしDVDで出てきた話の中からや、普段の生活の中で疑問があれば、リーダーたちに質問して、答えをもらいます。

今回のトピックは、『キリスト教について』、『イエス様とは？』でした。知っていることがたくさんでてきましたが（普段からチャーチやライフグループで学んでるからね☆）、そのひとつひとつが新鮮に聞こえました。それと、気がついたことは、この学びの時間が終わって帰るとき、心の中がとても満たされているのを感じました！

今回の学び：

１．キリスト教とは・・

-つまらないものではない：人生を豊かに生きるためのものである
-うそではない：それは真実である
-無関係ではない：それは私たちの人生を一変させるものである

２．イエス様は何者か？

-命のパンである
-世の光である
-復活であり、命である
-神の子であり、人間である

ヨハネ１４：６
イエスは言われた。『わたしは道であり、真理であり、命である。』

まだ通い始めて１回目ですが、すでにたくさんのよい影響を受けています！！！このコースはニュークリスチャンや、神様を知らない人だけでなく、クリスチャンとして長く経っているけれどもう一度基本に戻りたい！学びたい！という人にもおすすめなコースだと思います！

私は教会に通い始めてしばらく経ちますが、クリスチャンとして、今一度基礎をしっかりと学ぶよい機会になると思って参加することにしました！
I've been church for a while. I'm already believe in Jesus but it's going to be a great oppotunity to learn again about Christianity from very basic. I'm really excited to attend the course!!!

今回の学びは全て英語で行われること、さらにはディスカッションタイムもあるので、チャレンジです。しっかりとついていけますように～～！
This alpha course will be lead in English. I pray that I can understand them deeply and hopefully join the disscusion with all other native English speaking people!!
