イースターとは？ What's Easter?

最近ブログで書いている、”イースター”のこと。言葉は耳にしたことあるけど、一体そもそもなんのことなのさ？？と思ってるそんなあなた、今回はイースターについての特集です☆
Recently I often write the word, "EASTER". I think most of people have ever heard of the word but they don't know what about it. So, today's topic is about EASTER!!!

イースターというのは復活祭とも呼ばれる。これはクリスチャンにとっては最も重要なお祝い事で、十字架にかけられて死んだイエス・キリストが３日目によみがえったことを祝う日のことなのです☆
Easter is the day we celebrate Christ's Resurrection. This is the most important feast for Christians. 

イースターは祝日が決まっていません。基本的に『春分の日の後の最初の満月の次の日曜日』にお祝いします。それは、イエスが復活したのが日曜日だったからなんだ！
We celebrate Easter on the first Sunday following the first ecclesiastical full moon because Jesus rose again from the dead on Sunday!

死んだ人がよみがえるなんて、そんなことありえるわけがない！！と思うよね。
If you are not a Christian, you might think that it's impossible.


しかし、イエスは地上に必要とされたから、よみがえった。奇跡を伝えるために。
However Jesus rose again from the dead for telling what people has looking for. The world needed him to change the nation.

記録には少なくても５００人以上の人が復活後のイエスキリストに会っているとされているんだ！その中には、新約聖書に収められている多くの手紙を書いたパウロもいたんだ。
History records there were more than 500 people who met Jesus after His Resurrection. Paul, who wrote of the letters of the New Testament was also the one of them.

パウロはもともと、クリスチャンを迫害していた。そんな彼が回心してクリスチャンになるきっかけとなったのがイエスの復活。彼はその目でしっかりと、よみがえったイエスの姿をみたんだ。
Paul used to persecute Christians, but converted to Christianity because of a revelation from Jesus. He saw Jesus with his eyes and became a witness for Jesus' Resurrection.

一体、どうしてイエスは十字架で死んだのだろう。
Somehow, why did Jesus die on the cross?

それは、わたしたちの犯したあやまちや罪を変わりに身にまとったからなんだ。
That's because of our sins. Jesus took over our sins and died on the cross, showing his great love.

イエスが私たちの悪いものを全て変わりに背負って自ら一緒に十字架にかかったから、罪は許されたの。同時に、罪を全て明け渡した私たちは昔の自分とは違うキレイな人間として生まれ変わることができたの。
Because Jesus died on the cross with our sins, our sins are forgiven. And we could be born again as a pure, clean human beings.

だから、イエスを信じる人は誰もが許されて天国にいけるの！
So when we give our life to Jesus, he forgives all our sins, and we can go to Heaven  to be with God eternity!

イースターにはクリスマス同様、家族とごちそうを食べてお祝いします！そして、イースターの風習として最も有名なものがイースター・エッグ！
Traditionally, we have a feast with our family, the same as we do at Christmas. And the most famous Easter tradition......EASRER EGG!!!

これは殻に鮮やかな彩色を施したり、美しい包装をしたゆで卵をだす習慣のことです！
また、エッグハント（卵狩り）やエッグロール（卵ころがし）といった遊びもあります☆
We paint or decorate on the egg shell. And we have games for children such as Easter-Egg hunts and Egg-rolls.

なぜたまごなのかというと、もともとヒナが卵から生まれることをイエスが墓から出て復活したことを結びつけたものといわれているからなのだ！
Why the eggs???-we unite the chick's birth and Jesus' Resurrection from the grave: egg are the symbol for Jesus' Resurrection!!

最近ではたまごの形をしたチョコレートも広く用いられてるよね！今はいろんな種類のチョコレートがあって、食べるのもたのしいよね♪
Recently we have a chocolete shaped of eggs. It's so fun to collect and eat egg chocos!

まだまだクリスマスに比べて認知度が浅いこのイースター。今年はジーザス（イエス）の記念すべき復活祭を、ジーザスライフハウスでお祝いしませんか☆？！
Still lots of people don't know about Easter yet... Why don't you celabrate Easter time at Jesus Lifehouse this year?!?!
